Practical part include Logical Framework approach, risk analysis, budget etc. In this part we also choose and implement chosen IT solution. Software used for information sharing in manufacturing companies

Goal of this work is to analyze and compare the use of software in selected manufacturing companies and to suggest possible improvements. With the surge of use of modern technologies in most industries it's very important for employees to be able to efficiently share information with each other, this is even more important when talking about cooperation in teams, which nowadays very often consist of workers from all over the world working together in virtual teams. The work focuses on theoretical knowledge of said matter from both Czech and international sources and then it explores the practical real-life use of software and information sharing in number of companies. Method chosen for information gathering is questionnaire and then applying the new findings in a case study.
Analysis of existing Open Source alternatives to Microsoft Exchange Server, including verification of viability of the best chosen solution

The subject of this thesis is open source alternatives to MS Exchange server. Microsoft Exchange Server is a system for cooperation, which enables management (storage, sharing ...) of corporate data. First of all emails, contacts and calendars, notes and tasks. All these data are synchronized and displayed on a user device (workstation, laptop, tablet, mobile phone ...). MS Outlook cares about well organised display of above mentioned data. This solution is very costly both in terms of software licenses, and in terms of hardware requirements. In this thesis will be presented and compared some open source groupware systems: a free alternative to MS Exchange Server. The best substitute will be selected and verified. The installation and configuration will be described on the virtual server platform Proxmox Virtual Environment. In the end the advantages and disadvantages of the mentioned alternatives will summarized. Notification of potential difficulties will be mentioned as well.
Using ICT for Support Business Processes

The aim of this work is to identify those principles and ICT solutions that are necessary for the effective implementation of business processes in the SME sector. In the introductory part of the thesis describes the key aspects that the company must implement in order to successfully implement process management in the organization. Based on the techno aspects - performance indicators are identified and described the work of the various ICT solutions and principles. The focus of work is placed on the description of workflow and groupware solutions. Part of the work is a case study that demonstrates the identification of needs for ICT SME companies and constitutes a specific ICT solutions for economically sustainable model for process-oriented approach in the company. The conclusion summarizes the findings for each deployment process approach supported by information technology.
Collaboration/cooperation support in Office 365 Enterprise E3

The goal of this work is to analyze whether Office 365 Enterprise E3 supports collaboration/cooperation and its management. This goal is achieved in several interconnected steps. The first chapter of this work introduces the topic of collaboration/cooperation and presents the reader with relevant sources which deal with this topic. Integral part of the first chapter is also a brief introduction of the environment Office 365 Enterprise E3. The next chapter examines in detail the collaboration/cooperation process, its components, and their characteristics. Afterwards collaboration/cooperation is studied in the context of information technologies. This chapter explains how IT resources support the process of collaboration/cooperation and what requirements they must satisfy. The goal of this work is to describe in what way Office 365 Enterprise E3 meets these requirements and evaluate to what extent is satisfies them. For this reason, is the compliance with these requirements evaluated quantitatively on simple nominal scale. This evaluation is supplemented with qualitative evaluation based on author´s practical experience with this environment. The result of this work is the degree to what extent this environment supports collaboration/cooperation and its management. This work could be beneficial to managers and supervisors in organizations with any specialization and size, who are looking for suitable means to effectively support collaboration/cooperation within their organizations through information technologies. This work explains the topic of collaboration/cooperation and represents a brief introduction to Office 365 Enterprise E3.
Using cloud-based technology in company: Decision making model for selection of the groupware

The thesis deals with decision-making about how to operate the system for communication and collaboration in a company - groupware. Compares two different ways of operating systems. Using cloud-based services and systems which the company operates on its own hardware. In the thesis the decision-making model is created. The essential criterion for decision making are total cost of ownership (TCO), the work therefore contains a procedure to calculate the TCO. Decision-making model and the calculation procedure is tested using simulation and in the case study. The simulation also responds to issues of economic suitability cloud-based systems in small and in large companies.
